Action over 50

I'm only 56 ! and already being cast off by most as past it or 'old Git', although I have to admit that is not so at the Cricket Club. Last season during a practice match versus Old Kent, I took the drinks out to the players and it was said by an ex-England player after catching the drinks bottle thrown many yards ahead of me, "That's the best bottle catch I've seen in my playing career" !

So, this is a new page for you to participate if you want to. Are you over 50 and have a good active and energetic life ? Have you a photo odf yourself in some active persuit ? If so, please email it to me and I'll put it on this page. Don't expect to get paid for it because I'm skint !!

But this is a page to show them youngsters we're not sitting on the sofa waiting for the Reaper, we're getting the best out of life we can !

First to kindly volunteer is John Vears . John's actually my daughter Vicky's grandmothers cousin. So I think that makes him 3rd cousin to her ? John hails from Surrey and is 69 years young !
I've only met John a couple of times and he comes over as being a pretty quiet and reserved type.

Well, it seems that John has a secret life and behind that polite upright gentlemanly exterior there is a man of adventure and dare.

Below we see him White River Rafting (centre back) and taking a break during Paint Balling (second right).

So thanks for that John and just keep going; where I don't know, but just keep going !.
I can just about get in the bath let alone a raft !
