Ashford - Over 150 years of Railway experience

There can't be many towns of similar size to have such rail connections than Ashford has and with the building of the Channel Tunnel along with associated Ashford International, the Railway Station has become not only a major town landmark but a buzz for people wishing to travel both domestically and internationally as well.

London is served by two routes, via Maidstone to London Victoria (some to Charing Cross) and via Paddock Wood, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks to London Charing Cross.
The average journey time for most fast services is 1hr15min.
The faster services go on an hourly basis with stopping services for smaller towns and villages inbetween.

Eastwards, trains go to Margate either via Folkestone, Dover and Deal or via Canterbury. Both stop at Ramsgate and Broadstairs.
For Ferry passengers to France and Belgium, a free Bus service runs from Dover Priory Station to the Docks (about one mile).

To the South, Southern Railway services have a service to Brighton via the picturesque rote taking in the Romney Marshes to Rye, then Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne and Lewes.
The journey time to Brighton is approx 1hr40mins.

Maidstone East - The town and River Medway
Canterbury - Ancient City with it's beautiful Cathedral

For Rochester and other Medway towns it's not so easy. You can go either via Paddock Wood or change at Dover.
For the famous Spa town with Englands apparent oldest Shopping Centre, the Pantiles, Royal Tunbridge Wells can be reached by changing at Tonbridge.

Regular Eurostar services go from Ashford International to Paris and Brussels and with speeds upwards of 160mph, it doesn't take long!
Many passengers use Ashford as the starting point thus avoiding parking and driving problems in London.
The Station is well sign posted from the M20 and other routes and there's ample space to leave your car for as many days as you wish.

Southeastern and Southern trains operate a first class service from Ashford.
The popular Kent and East Sussex Railway runs regular steam trains from Tenterden to Bodium.
You need a car or travel by bus to get to Tenterden though.
