I enjoy watching ‘10 Years Younger’ on Channel 4. It would give me hope, but for the approx £6,000 needed to sort myself out - probably more, a lot more!

The concept is quite simple; How old do they look according to 100 people, how old they actually are and what do they look after the works been done.
It’s great watching the transformations achieved through Dentistry, Cosmetic Surgery, Make-Up, Hair and clothing and we’ve seen some people quite changed for much the better.

There is no harm in wanting to look younger, but in most cases we look what we’ve eaten, drunk, smoked and hot climates we’ve visited on holidays!
It catches up with us all in the end and it’s a shame it takes a pretty honest person to come up to you and basically say “Blimey, you look old”!
It’s also a shame that most people can’t afford it.

I have noticed they tend to go for the 30-45 year olds and I guess this makes for better TV, but is this telling us that over 50’s are just not worth following up and by then, it’s just too late - NEVER!!

I’d rather like to be on the programme myself. I recall when I was 35, people thought I was late twenties and this age ‘gap’ went right the way through until about a couple of years ago - now it’s “Late 50’s, 60′ish”.
So it’s caught up with me and the only ’sin’ I can own up not to having done is to drink a lot, except coffee that is, which is probably worse than a couple of pints of fine ale.

So, if anyone wants to nominate me, say I’m 45, the poll will say late 50’s, 60′ish and they can have the challenge of making me look 35!

Maybe I can say I downshifted to a better way of life, but I do occasionally miss going to the dentist, having a decent haircut, buying clothes where the design doesn’t wear off after the second wash and looking in the mirror and shouting “Who put the picture of George Clooney over the Mirror” !

I am 45yrs old have no children because I was to busy riding motor bikes & having a good time, but I lost my partner 6yrs ago which took its toll,I no longer know how to have a good time! and now my mother is ill and I have to look after her. When I look in the mirror I see a sad old woman, Where I used to see a good looking middle aged woman full of life. I dont bother with myself anymore and I am lonely. The only social life I have is working on the Door`s of a weekend as a door supervisor. Can you help me?
