Although the old one may look ok Honda's have a tendancy to get through plugs quicker than B&S engines. I've just serviced an HRB425 which wouldnt start - fitted new NGK BPR6ES & started first pull. I looked at the air filter and it was black. Cleaned it. Checked the oil and it too was black. Changed it. Afetr the next mow, checked the oil again and it was BLACK.
