[...] Now, you may think ‘What about the Honda?’ ( see here ) which I so majestically repaired last year. Well, the Gaffer Tape, bit of one by one, the string sowing of the grassbox etc. finally gave way to the main frame suddenly splitting. The last Mower was indeed a better one than the new one in many ways, but that was brought for cutting other peoples lawns as well as mine, so this must now do. But it’s not bad.
Thanks, great replies !!

I have to admit I've now sown the grassbox, using String.
I honestly don't know how the Mower keeps going!!
Honda certainly build them well.

These are some clever fixes. The only one I had happen to me was that the grass box kept breaking. I just ordered a new one instead of going with the, obviously much better gaffer tape method. Oh well.

Usually, the oil cap is on the other side of the lawnmower to the petrol cap, with a grey cap.

Unscrew and you'll see it has a level marker like a car.
You get lawnmower oil from a large DIY Centre.

To empty the oil, make sure there's no petrol in the tank and lean the mower sideways. There should be a bolt somewhere below the oil cap.

It'll be quite black if you haven't changed it for a while.

This is great, just shows how good the hondas are. I have got a dyson cleaner that is fixed up just like your lawnmower. Shame I can't share the photo!
