I watch this programme and I am amazed at the brilliance of the people responsible-who set music to any given scene or mood . They are so good at this-that sometimes you do not even notice it. I think they do a wonderful job.

What irritates me about this show is a) the smug,self-assured nature of Martin Roberts with his Bruno Brookes"80`S throw back" hair and fashion sense b) the mass-produced nature of the exteriors for the begining and end of the show and the obvious way that the thing is filmed in the opposite order to which it is shown ( I mean they must know that the house sold and to whom before hand in order to follow through the auction to the buyer etc ) and c) The PANS-people-esque literal interpretation of the accompanying music eg. If the purchasers are brothers we get "he ain`t heavy, he`s me brother" by the Hollies; if the house is a wreck we get "this ole house" by shaking stevens and so on - its completetely cringe-worthy and i often end up turning the sound off altogether for sections of the programme! Next time its on just listen at the music and how they mtch it to the purchasers, it`s pathetic!

@Guy: No it's not. Question is, are you on alcohol? Or are you just copying what people said on other sites, without having a clue?
The music is vaguely similar to "Express Yourself", but it is definitely NOT that. At least listen to it before making dumb comments.

Hi,
Try BBC iplayer. Type in 'Homes Under the Hammer' in 'search', then go through the episodes to find the right one (if it's there).
Wish you luck!!
Or rather than contact the BBC, write to the production company, I'm sure they would know.

Guy,
No I'm not and never have. Don't need those to keep me flying!
Thanks for the info - interesting.
