Moving raspberries

I have some summer raspberries that have been in the ground a year or so....I want to move them to another part of the plot.

a). Its a shaded part (pretty much most of the day) - will they work there?
b). Is it safe to move them?
c). What time of year do I move them?

Thanks everyone.

Re: Straight Beans

Thanks.

Fishpond - I know it's not important for me to grow straight beans as I dont show them, but I wanted to kill the curiosity. I'll give the "boil you to death" method a go haha!

Hi - just had a really good read through your diary. I'm now VERY green with envy!

Love the expandable trellis support tip for the beans. Guess where I'm tootling off too this week?

Re: Couch Grass Hell

Lovely - off to ASDA for a riddle/sieve later this week then.

Think I will dig out what I need to and weed kill the rest and cover. Hopefully that will sort it mostly.

Thanks everyone.
