Oh dear I hope they haven't eaten any. I have read that the antidote for rat poison is vitamin k, normally given by injection initially then orally. I would seek a vets advice. Good luck xx

Not sure what your set up is like but could you section off a part of the run big enough for her to keep her out of the nest box full time, I fed mine corn too as I was advised to do from the breeder, as they eat less and corn mix takes longer to digest so I presume their condition doesn't deteriora...

I am reading it on my kindle, someone at work suggested I read it, I'm just getting into it so not got to the BLIMEY bit yet, is it a bit saucy then? Ooh must read on then :-D

No I do not think you are cruel locking her out of the nest box, keep it up, you will break her in the end. She is just doing what comes naturally but is more determined than some others,I've found if with mine that if you miss a broody it takes longer for them to snap out of it if they've been allo...

Now we're eating potatoes, cabbage, carrots, I've pickled a batch of beetroot, loads of peas, broccoli, corgettes, tomatoes, onions and garlic. Not been able to freeze much though as I've lost a lot to slugs and cold weather.
