Wah! Snaily died yesterday,
he/she was the last of our giant snails, he was about 6 - this is an old pic he grew alot bigger

Bit of a relief really, he hadn't eaten anything for weeks, everytime I thought he
was dead I picked him up & out he'd pop. No I wont be getting any more! They
were a novelty for the first year or so & the kids enjoyed taking them to school to show the class, but once they lost interest I was left cleaning,feeding & trying to get the eggs out before they hatched! (100+ each time)

I expect you are relieved )t'

It is a long time for them to live I guess, kids do tend to have fits and starts with some pets.

Sorry you lost your snail. Interesting pets. I have a friend who has stick insects which are also interesting.
