one swallow doesn't make a summer...

Post by Mo »

...but there were 3 on the wire yesterday.
And a friend who lives on a boat claims to have heard a cuckoo.

My first one arrived on Saturday, now a few more and the one of the lots who use my outside loo (there are 3 nests in it) are already in residence as I found out much to my cost when I went to use it earlier on today!!!!!

Oh I think I should get it! )grin2(

We've had the swallows here since second week in March - and during the week before the cuckoos started up. It's great to hear them at first, but now they're driving me a bit mad! And the frogs are at it all night as well..... (I'm talking about the local amphibians).
