Look What Our Jack Russell Found

Post by Totally Scrambled »

Little Bonnie found something up the garden and luckily Ali and the girls were up there to call her off.
She didn't actually get to it so it was fine just a bit young, so Ali picked it up and put it in a tree. After a few minutes rest it was fine and went on it's way.

Ali must be one quick lady , I tried to get to an injured pigeon today and failed ! Only ever had 1 woodpecker in our garden - lucky you hope it stays around for a bit.
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .

Green Woodpeckers are elusive normally, esp at fledging.

Dogs and cats catching wildlife doesn't really bother me but it always feels good to know you've saved a life!

We've seen both green and lesser spotted woodpeckers in our back garden picking ants off the slope right outside our window. They are pretty shy and are gone at the slightest movement but lovely to see them and, earlier in the year, to hear them drilling.
