Owl nesting boxes.

Owl nesting boxes seem too expensive to me so I thought I'd have a go at making one for tawny owls.

Does anybody know where I can find plans for one?

Thanks for that, I've printed off the first set of plans from Godsownclay web site, looks to be just the job to fit in one of my oak trees.

Just got to find the best height and direction now.

How lovely to have owls in your garden.

At night it's absolutely silent here with no light pollution.

I stand at the back door after dark and listen to them, all sorts of owls. Barn owls land on my roof. I saw two little owls at dusk on telegraph wires recently.

The most common are the tawny owls so that seemed like a good starting point for a nest box.
