Mo wrote: What sort of moths are they? I remember when we were trying to lay cushioned vinyl and it was "maybug time" (I doubt if the forum will allow me to call them cockchaffers). They kept landing upside-down on the glue while it was waiting to get tacky. They couldn't right themselves, we couldn't reach them, but if we didn't get them they made a lump in the floor
they are Luna moths Mo, they are ones I bred last year

Had some blinkin' Leek Moths though on my ..err... leeks last year :(
The butterflies definitely had a field day on my sprouts too.
We seem to have some home grown moths as well, In the towel cupboard !!!
How big are those Luna Moths? (I could google it, but hey you are growing some :) )

Personally I'd be happier having them out in a cage than in my fridge!
We breed loads of moths here-in the clothes, the carpet etc - just think of the size holes yours would make in a wooly jumper
(They are very beautiful)

Your Luna moth is beautiful Ock, but I am terrified of them. OH has to get them out of the house for me. I remove the spiders he trembles at. A couple in the next village have a "Moth Day", when likeminded folk come, and discuss them, I suppose. They have about a dozen bird boxes in their garden.

I have to admit they do look 'rather' beautiful, but what on earth do you do with them?
