Grasshoppers!

Can't remember seeing any for years, then I spotted some in my strawberry and raspberry patch. I'd forgotten just how big they are and how far and accurately they can jump!

That is really weird Mallard, I was saying to someone today that I havn't seen any for years, use to be what appeared hundreds of them all over the place, just don't see them so much now.

Done a bit of googlin and it appears the grasshopper likes to eat leaves, but its favourite is dandelion leaves, plenty on my plot, so they're very welcome!

We always have them around here. Maybe something they like in the field.
I have had three in the house this last week.
