Hi,

Not very good shots because he or she was darting around a bit.

Spotted this on Dungeness Beach today.

Any ideas...

I had a hunt around on the great wide web (hey it's trying to snow here so I'm going no where :-D )
Looks like a Cinnabar moth...

)ot: Talking of moths etc, where is Ock these days? Havent seen him on here, or have I missed his posts, anyone know?

It's beautiful isn't it ....always think of moths as brown and dull colours but this is lovely ...mind you think I'd learn with Ock and his moths.

What a beauty, I've never seen one with such vivid colouring!
No girls at the moment but look forward to getting more in the future. Proud mummy to Hector, a Bedlington Terrier x Jack Russell

They have quite funky caterpillars. Black and yellow stripes.
We saw hundreds of them when walking once, they devastated the plant they were on and moved on :)
