Old Pallets, odds and ends are great for these. If you google image 'Bug Houses' there's some quite outstanding one's.

Could be some good projects for the Kid's Summer Holidays!
I've told my Grand Daughter we're going to build one when I'm next down there. She's 11 but wants to be a Vet - she loves every creepy crawly there is, fascinated by them!!

Cant say we have, Richard. Never really thought about bug houses tbh. LOL
