Hedgehogs Street Garden.

Post by jannie »

This year's Hampton Court Palace Flower Show July 8th - 13th will feature the world's first Hedgehog Street Garden. Designed by Tracy Foster for the British Hedgehog Preservation Society (BHPS) in conjunction with the People's Trust for Endangered Species (PTES), the garden will demonstrate just how easy it is to create a safe environment for hedgehogs.

Telegraph article

I can't get there but would love to see photos if anyone else does. )t'

We took a stroll down Hedgehog Street today and took some piccies.
Hidden amongst the undergrowth is a hedgehog box with a glass lid.

A bog standard hedgehog box with some camoflage.

A modern hedgehog friendly garden. There is a hedgehog access hole in the wall and the water is very shallow with low edges so they can paddle in and out of it.

Hope you enjoy them )t'
