Toady the pooh!

I was about to scoop up a large poop next the chicken feeder when I realised it was
actually a small toad! It was looking rather unwell & barely moving, either it was drying out or a chook had had a go at it. I put it next to our pebble fountain & it seems a lot
more lively now, I wonder if it will take up residence there. I left it a couple of soaked
mealworms, not sure what else I can do for it.

I found another one this morning, in the field that has just been bailed, must be
where they're coming from. This was a large one, I thought it had gone into a
state of hibernation but its been by the fountain all morning & hasnt changed so
I think I brought home a dead toad :oops:
