Common frog in garden

Post by saint-spoon »

I found a common frog on my patio when I popped out to fill the bird feeders last night. They should be hibernating this time of year and there isn't much for them to eat, I must assume that the warm weather has put hibernation back or interrupted the hibernation cycle. I have seen quite a few of them over the years even though we don't have a pond, but never in December. I do hope that he/she finds a nice hibernating spot once more and re-emerges safe and sound in the spring.

It really is getting quite worrying; Hedgehogs etc.

A Dungeness Blogger is still posting Butterflies and a few Dragons as well.

It's all going silly, but more worrying than silly !
