Ginger Moth or not?

Post by Trev62 »

What am I??

Image Image

I found an image in the internet that was labelled "Ginger Moth", >coc< But it must have a proper name! Its furry head reminded me of one of the bats we get in Bulgaria. There are many of these around at present and I have never seen them before so over to you experts for some help!!

Cracked it....... it would seem it is an Oak Eggar moth of the female persuasion, wonderful thing this internet if you ask it the right question!! Lovely moth, certainly has more hair on its head than I do :-D
