Mistle thrushes

I thought I read/saw somewhere that Mistle thrushes were in decline.
If that is correct, then someone ought to come to our place, we are unindated with them and boy do they make a racket.
They are beautiful birds though, they really are.

I love thrushes and blackbirds, their songs are beautiful.

I hadn't realised they were supposed to be in decline, we have some round our way, we do have a very sweet robin who visits regularly and who likes to sit on our pergola waiting for tasty treats.

I haven't seen mistle thrushes here at all, although we do get plenty of birds in general, including flocks of long-tailed-tits and house sparrows (in the eaves) which are also supposed to be in decline. Used to spend hours watching birds come and go from the garden, recently that time has been used up by a certain group of spoilt ladies who now live with me
