Close encounter with Kestral at Dungeness

Post by Richard »

So lucky.

I was driving away from the RSPB Car Park and this lady flew on to a fence post about 30 feet away from me !

Didn't even have to get out of my car, wound down the window, took about five shots, then she flew off!

Magic, so lucky !

They are lovely birds. We had a pair nesting in the big tree in one of the paddocks two years running and the babies really make a racket when they see either Mum or Dad coming with food.

There seems to be quite a few of them round here too, which is good.
