24 plus deer

I was packing some clothes in the bedroom when I looked up and saw in excess of 24 deer running like mad across the field. Have to say have never seen a herd that large round here before, so they must be doing well.

Just hope that nobody takes it into their heads to dispatch some because they are eating too much off the farmers fields.

We have a deer park at Normanby Hall, a mile from here, and in the winter the tractor and trailer comes at about 11am each day with their food. They throw off loads of sugar beet and the deer gather near the gate before it arrives in anticipation. A good opportunity to take photo's.

Beautiful creatures, pity there's now this 'scaremongering' about Limes Disease from the Ticks.
Just as easy to pick that up from Mozzies, especially in Scotland.
