Happy Lambs!

Post by pepi »

Im sitting here watching 7 lambs racing up and down a mound in the field beside my house - round and round a gorse bush, and up and down the hedge, leaping into the air, and bucking and butting each other - such fun and games!! They do this every evening - we call it the 'kindergarden' - and there is always one ewe grazing beside them - maybe the other mums are gone down the field for some quiet time away from the kids! Lovely to see the lambs having such fun and behaving like young animals... I think we see sheep as quite/boring animals, but my goodness these lambs have fun!

I love seeing lambs gambolling - full of the joys of spring, not a care in the world!
