As anyone else noticed that the veg plot is not dying back when it should? At the allotment, my squash & courgettes, peppers etc are still flowering and producing more fruit now than during the summer months. I need to be out there now to plant my Japanese onion sets and sow the broad beans, and the beds I had allocated (in terms of crop rotation, avoiding onion rot hot spot, notorious shady bit over winter etc) are all still busy producing fruit like no tomorrow!

It seems a shame to dig them up while they are so productive

I picked two impressive cucumbers at the allotment yesterday. Have to say the weeds are finding the conditons perfect as well
