I have just read about this ac tivity and subsequently found this website. It restores faith in humankind and is surely more attractive than spraypaint.

I can't believe people could be arrested for this. Well, OK, I can believe it because it's termed criminal damage or something, but isn't it a fantastic concept?
Fortunately, around here they do pretty up much of the public space, there aren't that many areas that could do with some, but should anyone inquire, I'd love to do it.

I have heard of this but didn't know much about it, thanks SS. I wondered how long the new plants would last before they got stolen or vandalised? A good idea but would they all still be there a week later?

The people responsible tend to keep an eye on their 'patches' after planting. I know there have been occasions of vandalism or theft, but generally it seems to work.

I admire them all for the generousity of time, resources and effort they put in. Good on 'em! (f+

Total respect for the GG's!!! What lovely people. I admire what they are doing. Shame the police aren't as quick to find criminals as they are come down on a group of people gardening at night!!

Long may they continue there work. There's an idea - if anyone has any cuttings, seeds or plants - what a lovely way of getting them new homes.
