Been picking tomatoes today, first 6 weighed 4lbs!
Ok I know they were the beef variety but these didn't have hooves on!

You're so fortunate being further south, and therefore able to grow decent sized beef tomatoes. Mine end up on the puny side.
Still, got loads of cherry tomatoes, both orange and red ones, so I'm happy.

My tomatoes are really struggling at the moment, not enough sun, like last year. When they eventually come I am hoping they last till December, like last year

There'll be a few alchemists who'd be very interested in your trees, how did you do it?

Me & my big mouth. Looked at the tom's last night, all ok. 7am today 10 plants at deaths door due to blight. Now in possesion of 2 large carrier bags of green tom's to ripen/make chutney of. The blighted blighters were immediatly uprooted for burning.
