really disappointed with my squash

The only time I have used pumpkin was in wine - when i liquidised it the top came off and it went all over everything including the beams on the ceiling YHUKKK.

Can't imagine what induced me to do it anyway - when I carve pumpkins for halloween and put a candle in them, I have to put them outside as I can't stand the smell!!

The wine was ghastly!!!! Although, my neighbour's boy seemed to like it - he was at that age when anything alcholic (and free) was great!!!!!!

I managed 1 pumpkin - which is still doing well, My squash are Tiny, my yellow courgette are just producing now and the green courgette, well, beautiful flowers - which you can batter and fry, but not 1 courgette from one of my plants!

Glad to hear that it's not just me! better luck next year?!
2 children, half a springer Spaniel, a Hamster, 2 Goldfish and an allotment. And a very excited, now mummy of some chickens again, Daisey, Dotty and Master Yoda!
