Bunny Rabbit

Post by Scrambled »

A beautiful little :bun: has started to visit my garden and veg patch. He hasn't decimated the place (yet) and I do love to see him out there. He goes for a mix of my lawn, mares tail, flowers and the occasional chomp of some of my veggies.

I'd like to attempt to rabbit proof (or at least rabbit deter) the veggies and am thinking that posts at the corner of each bed with chicken wire (say, two feet tall) around the edges, dug down in to the soil a bit, might help.

Anyone had a similar experience and found anything particularly effective? I'm keen to protect the veg rather than chase the rabbit away. I have grown quite fond of him +f+

Aw how sweet!
We have 2 pet bunnies and we've done exactly what you're suggesting with chicken wire around our trees and it seems to work. )t'
Good luck with your bunny proofing.
