I've made some comfrey liquid and know it is good for tomatoes and other fruit (potassium) but wonder what else to use it for. If I feed it to leafy plants, will it do them good as well? Or will it make them bolt, seed or fruit more quickly?
Thanks!
How do I best use comfrey liquid?

Re: How do I best use comfrey liquid? As far as I am aware, plants will only take up whatever nutrients they require, so I do not think it should make any difference whether they have access to loads of Potassium or not.
On the other hand, as this is fed in the diluted form, the plants may take it up without realizing what the chemical analysis is until it is too late. Maybe the benefits of all the trace elements outweigh the risk of overdosing on Potassium and flowering/fruiting early. You could try Nettle feed which is high in Nitrogen or chicken manure added to water(you will need a peg for your nose for this one though) In short, it is a very good question and I do not know the answer. p.s--love your site. No problem can withstand the power of continuous thought.
