Mangetout Pigeon Attack - lesson learnt !!

I've never grown Mangetout before, just went by seed packet and grew indoors, planted out a week ago, all fine.

This morning I went up to about 80% devastation. Definitely not slugs as they're next to the Runner Beans and they're all OK.

Hindsight = Had I googled a bit, I found they are very partial to pigeon attack and also, if you sow early (in March) or late (in June) that works round the Pea Fly high season.

Some may be OK but I'm sowing some more later.

I've put some mesh around them.
