Well, we hear on the news today that Scottish prawns are travelling 17000 miles to be 'processed' I shall not be buying their products again. This is getting quite good, I will end up having nothing to buy and save lots of money!
pm me if you missed the news and need the company name (they said it on the television).

Get your prawns from the local fish van that comes weekly. Thats what we do.
I am assuming they don't come from too far away, and certainly not been peeled in Thailand or somewhere.

sorry folks, I couldn't eat anything which was boiled alive, when I gave up meat 23 years ago, i had to eat fish for a while as I was still living at home, that was my compromise with my mum, but then eventually gave up fish & all it's rellies too.
Sorry, don't want to make anyone feel rotten, but eek.
Cheers

mel i'm with you
i feel a bit of a hypocrite cos i do eat some actual fish, but the thought of how shellfish and crustaceans may have met their end makes me shudder!

re the thing about a face, i have heard that too, seems a bit discriminatory to me )j;
poor things have already got it bad, what with having no face and all, why eat them?
