I was up at 6am preparing beef casserole with swede, carrot and parsnip this morning. Its in the slow cooker so will be ready when I get home from work, served with home made dumplings of course.... )t'

I'm home alone tonight, as Hubbly's on a curry night with some of his old work pals. Our visitors won't get here till after dinner, so think I'll have a nice mushroom and cheese omlette )eat(

The children are doing pizza/video night tonight. dh is in Plymouth for the day, so I'm not sure when he'll be back - will decide about our dinner when I have an eta from him.

We had pork from our pigs pots and cabbage from the garden so all home grown it was yummy.
