Wel it was going to be homemade soup, but I've had a bit of a disaster. About 1pm, I put the chicken carcass on to boil/simmer to get all the meat off the bones. Only I forgot about it didnt I

Saw the word 'soup' when reading something and thought 'oh no!'. Ran to the kitchen to find smoke pouring out of the side of the panlid and the kitchen filled with it.

All I can say is it's a good thing the lid was tight fitting, or we might have been calling the fire brigade about now yike*

I guess we're having penne al amatriciana instead )c+

home made oven chips (frylight), peas, grilled chicken breast (FR of course) and home made curry sauce. I must say that my curry sauce takes some beating, it is a blend of the finest pastes and spices (from the chinese supermarket) blitzed onion and seasonings, proper tastey.
we do a lot of home made oven chips this time of year because you can get some really decent Maris piper spudz from our local fruit and veg shop for a few bob a pound.

Last night I made an arrabiata sauce, made some plain and basil gnocchi and served over roasted chicken breast with a parmigiana crust.

Tonight probably left overs and looking forward to it.
