I agree with you Orfy, hungry, why else steal food.
There are probably lots of different reasons why people steal.
There are people less fortunate than us, for whatever reason get themselves into a situation where they have lost control of their lives and spend money on non essentials leaving no money left for food. There are a lot of people out there needing help and support and feeling quite alone. I am so glad I dont go to bed hungry.
