Why is that ridiculous? Hubby and I caught two shoplifters last week with 5 chickens in their bag!
...and we end up paying for it in the long run!

Shops should do whatever they can to protect their property. Stealing is wrong, and yes Citrine, honest people do pay for it, we are the victims of the crime.

Who are they? I read a thing about serial killers and according to that particular book
they are totally correct, apparently it’s all to do with the fascination with inflicting pain and death. I wonder if it’s the same with serial stealers, pinching a chicken to feed their lust for being caught or something.

Sounds to me more like an inside job. You have a mate at the Till who doesn't scan everything ?

How do they manage to get FIVE chickens in a bag unseen and then think they can walk out with them??? Slightly obvious possibly? The sheer hard faced cheek gets me, they just dont care and have no shame..

Not sure what annoys me the most, the people who steal quite a lot of valuable stuff from a shop or the ones that take a 30p bar of chocolate.......why?

No.
but if you are desperate for dr-ugs or the baby needs food then maybe you'd see it differently.
Yes it is wrong but I've never been in either of those situations.
I guess lots of time it is greed.
