Is that a bird seed bar for birds to eat, or for humans to eat???

OK! Here is the recipe....for HUMANS meanqueen! (but Im sure the birds would love it too!)
BIRDSEED BAR
175g - 200g margarine or butter (the former if you're trying to watch your weight!!lol)
1/2 cup liquid honey
1 cup brown sugar

Bring 3 ingredients to a rolling boil, boil for a couple of minutes then remove from heat. Then add:

approx 2 cups sesame seeds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup coconut
1 cup roughly chopped roasted nuts (I use almonds and hazelnuts)
1/2 - 1 cup sultanas
1/2 - 1 cup chopped dried apricots

Mix together then press into a pan lined with baking paper.
Set at room temperature. Cut into bars or squares. ready to eat within the hour!

Ps. I have tried to limit the amount of butter used, but the bar tends to go quite hard as opposed to chewy when less butter is used. Up to you how you like it though. Its a good recipe to experiment with.

Happy cooking

I might try that, I've got all the ingredients, apart from apricots, perhaps I could use prunes! I might have to crush the pumpkin seeds and nuts as I have very few back teeth to chew with. ha ha.

Thanks for that
