Hawthorne and elderberry.

Post by Orfy »

They are both nearly ready for picking now.

What can be done with them..

I made hawthorne wine last year.
Theis year I'll be doing elderberry and crab apple wine for sure.

Maybe a go at some jam/chutney.

What do you think? Any Ideas or tested recipes?

I made elderberry jelly and elderberry jam last year.

Funny thing - I made a load of it - yet I have never ever liked the smell of the stuff!!!!
