Yes we love them in our house!
I also use them in everything too! I also add them to the roasting tin with the norm roast pots, put them in veggie curry and stews and yesterday i made a minestrone type thing and it went into that too.

My friend gave me some sweet potato and carrot soup, it was delicious. I have seen them but not tried one myself, they look a bit knobbly, might get one next time I shop.

Love them here as well. Tonight I just had them mashed with butter accompanying fish, broccoli and carrots.
I also have a dish with mushrooms and spinach in a peanut butter sauce....lovely.

We would eat them every day! Having said that, hubby went shopping one night and got 3, 1kg bags for 10p each - you'd be surprised how creative I got!

I even made sweet potato muffins - bit like carrot cake, and a great recipe for vegetarian burritos which freeze, wrapped in single portions and microwave from the freezer to make a handy, delicious, instant snack.

I must admit, I was dissapointed when the 3kg ran out :)

Had them in with other roasted veg and sausages last night (a la Bury-of-Sains) and wish I'd put more in.

Ooh, had a busy night, need to cook )c+

Yeah, he buys all sorts of c***! He can't resist a bargain. I don't mind really. It makes us more adventurous.

I'm really trying to buy seasonally at the moment. I very much doubt that sweet potatoes have a UK season!

Still, can't resist them )c+

Before we moved to France we lived in the cambridgeshire fens and one day when my wife went into the local market town supermarket and asked for sweet potatoes....

the shop assistant offered her .....

"Desiree...they're quite sweet!"
