Has anyone tried them?

I know you can deep fry to crispy, anything else?

a nice tempura batter and fried (I think that HFW did that) is good but you can just break them up and use them in salads; the key is to not cook them too long because they are delicate.

Do they have an actual flavour or just look very pretty and unusual on the plate.?

Mine are full of ants at the moment - guess they add a bit of flavour!

I would advise using them if they are full of ants, as the ants have a tendency to carry everthing else off your plate while you eating, leaving you feeling hungry and confused... :-D ....
