Raw eggs anyone?

Saw an article on the Beeb's website yesterday about raw eggs. Even from my own hens, I don't think I would be tempted to use raw eggs in any food or drink.

Raw eggs OMgoodness that is YUCK, YUCK and more YUCK. wouldn't eat raw eggs at all.

Never fancied raw meself either.
Aren't they supposed to be raw in mayonnaise?
And even the cake mix left in the bowl, we used to demolish that as kids (and as an adult ) :)

but as a main ingredient, no thanks.

I don't like runny yolks in boiled eggs or fried eggs. I like my fried eggs crispy :) even then I only get the urge to eat one every couple of years.

We always used raw egg whites in Royal Icing. Pasteurised egg white just isn't the same. So if I really want Royal I use raw eggs from my hens. But most Christmases I just use water icing. Since Egwina Currie

Yes they are....make my own Mayonnaise but it's the only thing I use raw eggs for.
