Soup of the day today is .......

tomato, leek and celery with a few spring onions in there too. >veg5<

My tomato plants did very well this year, but the toms that were left were starting to go brown yike* so I got them all in, and had around 100 tomatoes littered about the place on windowsills etc. So it was curtains for the worst of them, and they've been chutneyed and souped.

Soup of the day for us ..... leek and potato. Potatoes were home grown but leeks not ready yet :-)

Plus home-made apple pie with apples from own tree.
