microwave veg

Post by Mo »

Heating baked beans is easy, but tinned tomatoes spit all over the place.
Why?
Any cures?

Have you tried on a lower setting so the pressure builds up but then goes down again when the microwaves come on and off (I am not certain but I think that is what the lower settings do)

If I'm cooking something that has a habit of exploding I tend to use the 50% setting for a little longer and always use a lid just in case....
