We have a Female Labrador who turned 10 in November last year. She seems in good health apart from being a bit stiff when she has been laying for a while. My concern is she has started to wet her bed most nights now, this has been happening for about 2 weeks. She is let out to go to the toilet before we go to bed. Some nights she won't go and sits by the door to come back in even though i sometimes go out and wait with her. She does not wet in the day. She is eating and drinking as normal. Thanks in advance. Amber.
Amber - two of my older sheltie bitches had been spayed, and started to leak slightly both at night, and if they laid down. The vet prescribed drops to go on their food, and this really solved the problem. Sorry but I can't remember the name of them.
Yes go to the vet, they will give you tablets or drops to stop her. Very often you only need give them for a month or so and then she will be fine again. It will come back, but just put her back on for a while
old age unfortunately , can I have some (for my self , might sleep better .) My Harley had the same trouble . Would not be so bad but she sleeps next to me...... Bob
