Phil's hanging around again!

This is Phil. I've been waiting for him to pay his regular visit to the Chicken Run, but he's a lazy so and so, doesn't like flying over the fence!

Aren't they just the most beautiful creatures, Alan Tichmarsh did a bit on his programme about them.
When we first moved to the south, we had a huge garden, about an acre, when my dad scythed it all down, he disturbed a Pheasant nest, we put the eggs under a hen & they all hatched, we had 3 male pheasants who lived with the hens for years, along with a partridge which also hatched, he was called Pepsi cola partridge :-D

very pretty birds, they used to go to bed with the girls at bed time too :-D
