Meet Dolly

Post by julieann »

As some of you may know I lost two cats recently, 1 to ill health and one was sadly run over. I said no more....famous last words.

I went to our local rescue centre yesterday with my sis and Dolly told me she would like to come to our house to live! So meet Dolly....

That last photo is beautiful! It would've been perfect for the sleeping pets competition. {hug}

Kittens are so cute, and she has cuteness to a T. Beautiful. Lucky little lady

I love cats, but my road is just to busy so I haven't had one for years.
Sadly my two dogs don't love them :?

What a sweet little baby Dolly is. There is something about kittens with their great big eyes that really melts the heart. I hope you both have lots of happy years together {hug}

I love tabby cats, as they grow and their markings develop they become so stunning. She looks like butter wouldn't melt but I bet she will be trying to climb the curtains by tonight. She is lovely.

Thanks everyone. She's settled in a bit, she's eating and using her litter tray. Wary of the dogs but I've got them sitting calmly in the same room as her whilst DD is playing with her...hoping that she will associate the dogs with play time. Don't know if that sort of training applies to cats but it seems to be working, she plays while keeping an eye on them. She keeps stopping to swear at them and have a hiss but its early days {rofwl}

Miss Ellie Rose loves her, who wouldn't +f+

I love the name Dolly for her, we toyed with Ginny and Lizzy but have settled on Dolly.

Thank you, she's settled in really quickly and is now prancing past the dogs and hissing if they look at her! They are used to living with cats so have a lot of respect for those claws {rofwl}

She is not worried about pushing in when the dogs are on my knee to get pride of place...on my shoulder eventually, what a minx!

Marie our older girl (cat) who's 9 is just ignoring her...very aloof!
