My heart goes out to you and your family, Miss Ellie. You did the right thing as we all knew you would because you are a true animal lover. RIP Lily and have wonderful fun at Rainbow Bridge. {hug} {hug}

Thank you everyone {hug} you're lovely messages have choked me up again, its so nice to share these things with others who feel the same about their pets. The house feels empty despite 4 kids and 2 dogs but I know we did the right thing for her.
Kieran, age 13 took it especially hard as he's the real animal lover out of the 4 of them. it's his birthday today so the timing was pretty rubbish but he knows it was the kindest thing for Lily so he's doing ok.

Really sorry to hear that you lost Lily. Hope Keiron has as happy a Birthday as he could manage ( he sounds like me ...I take it real bad when one of my pets leaves us !!!) I am sure Lily had a great and happy life with you and your lovely family
