Dawn chorus

I got up for the loo this morning at 4.14am to the beautiful sound of a blackbird singing. Soon others joined in and I loved it so much, I didn't want to go back to sleep. It is such a long time since I have heard the dawn chorus starting.
I did of course go back to sleep but it has stayed with me :-D
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

Sounds lovely June ...the dawn chorus is a lovely sound. I'm lucky I hear it from time to time when I'm at work, which is just as well because I don't think I would wake early enough to hear it if I wasn't.
I love the different times of day in the same way I love the different seasons because they all bring something new we so often take for granted or fail to see / hear
