Corvental D and doggy bronchitis

Post by periwinkle »

Just wondered if anyone had experience of Corvental D or of managing canine chronic bronchitis. My dog has just been put on this (along with inhaled steroids) and I was wondering whether it should be kicking in straight away (because it isn't).
Oddly enough she doesn't really cough - mainly noisy breathing on exercise.

I have never heard of this medication, so googled. Not found a huge amount of info and nothing on how long it takes to work, but have learnt that dogs should be weighed and given the correct doses otherwise there could be probs.

Has your vet not said how long it would take for the medication to start working? If he/she hasnt I would ring them and ask them directly.

I do hope it helps your dog and you can manage this nasty disease. XX

I think the best person to ask about any drug your pet has been prescribed would be your vet. They have the qualifications and the expertise to be able to give you a thorough explanation about not only the drug, but how it works and how it will be able to help your pet.

Hope your dog OK {hug}
