If Dennis does object can you ask the new allotment holders to have a greenhouse and possibly re-instate him in there?

Its not raining in Sleaford, Mallard, windy but fairly sunny with temp of 10deg. LOL Hope you didnt get too wet.

Kind of bad news and good news isn't it.

If you can pick him up without 32 stitches, then move him in manually to have a sniff around I suppose.
Other than that, food is the usual incentive, let him follow his bowl!

I do hope it'll turn out OK.

The only person able to pick him up, sadly was the one that died, but I'm sure he'll follow food. I'll check on him tomorrow!

He will continue to be looked after by several people; I just hope Dennis doesn't object to the move!

Had a walk down to the plots this morning, Dennis's box, mats and food bowls are now neatly in the greenhouse nearby.
Of course there's always one person not good on thinking! They left the door open on his old greenhouse where, of course, he waited to be fed! No doubt we'll get there in the end.

Good grief, this is an interesting read. Glad Dennis gets to stay on his 'estate' at least.

It's done and dusted now; Dennis has settled into his new greenhouse and can still sit in the sun! There is a possibility of making a smaller access for him instead of leaving the door partly open, as the lady who feeds him in a morning feels he might be in a draught.

I attended the cremation of his late keeper yesterday, the place was packed, including a large allotment contingent. There was a collection for animal charities.

Not often I wear a tie so I've changed my avatar!

Excellent outcome for Dennis - I'm sure your late friend would be very happy to know that the cat he thought so much of is continuing to be so very well looked after

Dennis is a darling and I think it is wonderful that he has a number of human friends who think highly of him. Your late friend can rest in peace that his wish to make sure Dennis looked after has been carried out.
