Please share - Missing Dog in Wakefield

Post by bluebell »

Hi folks -

Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity rehomed a little dog yesterday to a loving family in Wakefield. Sadly, the little dog has escaped and is running frightened somewhere in Wakefield. Can I please appeal to anyone in the Wakefield area to share with friends and family and look out for a small whippet type dog, white in colour with faint black spots. Pebbles went missing wearing a red harness. If you check out B.A.R.C. website or facebook page you will see a photo of this little lady. She is a nervous dog so may be petrified at the moment and will not come to you. If anyone runs after her she will run away.

Can I ask anyone reading this to share and spread the word. The volunteers and staff at B.A.R.C. are worried sick about this and want this little lady to be found. I don't know the story behind how she went missing - it's tragic - maybe she was frightened by something. I just want to help get her found.

Mods hope it is ok to post this on members and pet section xx

Hi Hun - Just come in from work. Just to say that a number of volunteers from the charity went out en masse to find the little dog. They took along a good friend of the little dog and managed to find her :-D

Have to add what an amazing bunch of staff and volunteers this local charity have. The girls were out saturday looking for Pebbles. They went out yesterday morning early and took Pebbles friend Dylan with them. Dylan helped find Pebbles and reassure her it was safe to be found. )t'

So glad she was found safe and sound. She must have wondered what was happening, bless her. {hug}
